At SyncroCal LLC, protecting your data is our top priority. We implement numerous practices to safeguard your data through industry-vetted privacy controls and procedures.
We attempt to be as specific and transparent about how and when we utilize, collect, store, transmit or share any of your data.
Your Data Is Yours
We do not sell or profit off any consumer data. Your data is truly yours. In terms of what data we collect, we ask for the minimum amount of data necessary to provide meaningful products and services to you and limit access to only those with a distinct and reasonable business need.
Securing Your Data
We have levels of security controls that are implemented across our suite and in different states, to protect your data both at rest and in transit. Further, our encryption keys are managed via AWS Key management System (KMS) which stores key material in Hardware Security Modules.
Protecting our Product
Our product undergoes penetration testing and ongoing vulnerability scanning. We partner with highly secure and vetted integrations (Stripe, Google, Outlook, Microsoft, Hubspot, AWS) who each have robust security plans in place.
What does SyncroCal do?
SyncroCal connects your calendar data across platforms allowing you to synchronize your calendars and minimize the administrative burden of managing multiple calendars. Core calendar services do not currently have a seamless synchrony function.
What calendar platforms can I sync?
SyncroCal works to sync Google, Microsoft and Outlook calendars.
How does SyncroCal work?
Create a SyncroCal account and log-in to the dashboard. From there, you can add calendars by logging into each account, set your sharing preferences. Congratulations! Your accounts are synced.
How do the privacy controls work?
You determine what data is visible on which calendars and to whom. Let’s say you’re integrating your personal calendar data onto your work calendar. You can choose to integrate the calendar data and show the activities or simply block the calendar time as busy, indicating that someone cannot schedule over that time without them seeing any descriptive data about that event.
Do I have to use the SyncroCal calendar?
No. We believe in the principle of “your calendar, your way.” Use SyncroCal one of two ways. 1) Set-up your calendars one-time. Use your native calendar platform and only log-on to SC to change settings. 2) The SyncroCal dashboard is designed to be a fully functional calendar platform. Like it? Feel free to use it.
How many calendars can I sync?
With SyncroCal, you can sync unlimited calendars at no additional charge.
Which permissions do you ask for?
We request read/write access to your account’s calendar and corresponding email address to enable your account synchronization.
What happens with my data?
SyncroCal is an encrypted platform. We simply integrate your data, with your permissions, onto the calendars of your choice. We do not sell or share your data .
How does SyncroCal affect my other calendars?
SyncroCal is just a platform to define your syncing preferences. Once this is complete, you will be able to see your sync'd events on your current calendar based on the permissions and preferences you defined.
